Join us for #NaCroKniSweMo! Well, it was always just #NaKniSweMo until we got ahold of it, but we wanted to open it up to knitters AND crocheters, so that's how it got its name in the Yarny Ewes!
Choose your sweater pattern from our suggested patterns, or elect to use one of your choice from elsewhere and plan to stitch up a sweater along with us in November! We'll have prizes along the way and fun in our group while we stitch away!
The kits below have been curated just for this event. Don't see a kit you love? Send us an email and we'll put together a custom kit (with the kit discount) just for you!
When looking at the combos, please note that the color on the left is the MAIN color and the color on the right of the duo is the CONTRAST color. This is important as your kit will be dyed with those parameters in mind. Select the number of hanks you need for the main color on the dropdown menu for "Main Color" and the number you need to contrast on the "Contrast" menu.
Both of our suggested patterns are for worsted weight sweaters. The kits will be dyed on Shelley, our brand new 100% Superwash Merino, 4 ply worsted weight yarn with 218 yards per hank.
The curated kits are as follows:
Retro Rocket: Main - Words of Widsom; Contrast - Holly Jolly
Morning Gaze: Main - Paper Straws; Contrast - Pickled Peppers
Copper Penny: Main - Copper; Contrast - Inspired
Forest Hike: Main - Sour Puss; Contrast - Yuletide Carols
Queen of the Blues: Main - Queen of Tarts; Contrast - Words of Wisdom
Soft Blush: Main - Fingerlings; Contrast - Swan White
English Tea: Main - English Holly; Contrast - Mocha
Natural & Free: Main - Swan White; Contrast - Potato Peel Pie
These kits are a PREORDER and will be shipped as soon as they are dyed up (approximately 4 - 6 weeks from ordering.)
Please note that you are responsible for your size calculations and ordering sufficient yarn. If you need assistance, please send us an email and we are happy to help! You may email email@example.com.
As is usual during our KALs, you may choose any pattern you like and as long as you use Olive & Two Ewe yarn, you will be prize-eligible.
The following two patterns are suggested to use for the KAL.
The first is from the newest edition of Nomadic Knits.
