It's time for a fun Knit Along!
The Bamboo Shoots Scarf was designed by our very own Nancy Victorino of KnitwiseTE and we are delighted to be partnering with her for this fun KAL!
The scarf is created with three hanks of our squishy Angelou sport weight yarn: two hanks of a main color and a hank of a contrasting color for the details.
Soothing knitting will create the scarf itself, while the surface crochet and tassel details offer the chance to widen your knitting technique skills. Nancy's created video tutorials to guide your learning as you set out to try something new.
Each kit will include two hanks of the main color, one hank of the contrast color, and a size G crochet hook for the surface crochet detail.
Choose from:
Merlot (main color) and Avocado (contrast) - color combination used for the sample
Shiraz (main color) and Peach Blush (contrast) - Dyed to Order
Moody (main color) and Greiger (contrast) - Dyed to Order
The dyed to order kits will be shipped once dyed.
Our Knit Along will be hosted in our Yarny Ewes Facebook group and there will be prizes!
The pattern must be purchased separately from the kit on either Ravelry or PayHip.
Angelou Yarn
- 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon
- 3 ply Sport
- 328 yards, 100 grams
- 23-26 sts / 4 in
- NS: US 3-5
- Hand dyed using professional grade acid dyes
- For best results, hand wash cold and lay flat to dry.
- As hand-dyed yarn is subject to variation, even with the same dye lot, if using more than one hank in a project, alternate hanks every few rows to compensate for variations in tone and pattern.
