Knitting 101

Learn the basics of knitting! 

This is a 2 week course to get you going! Skills learned include casting on, basic knit and purl stitches, learning to read a pattern and fixing common mistakes to avoid frustrations often found with beginning knitters.

The cost of the class includes both sessions and all you need to begin: yarn (we'll have several colorways to choose from), pattern, knitting needles, tapestry needle, scissors, and Eucalan.

Classes are held on the following dates at Needleworks - 5151 Lake Howell Rd, Winter Park (St. Richard's Episcopal Church):
Sat, Aug 3rd 11:00-12:00

Sat, Aug 17 11:00-12:00

Please note that although classes are one hour, students are encouraged to stay and practice knitting skills after.
